“上火”是人体各器官不协调造成的,医学上称之为应激性疾病。由于春季气温不稳定、秋季早晚温差较大,人体不能保持新陈代谢的平衡和稳定,导致生理机能失调而致“上火”。
通常,人们在“上火”之前并没有明显的症状,但发病后则表现为咽喉干燥疼痛、眼睛红赤干涩、鼻腔热烘火辣、嘴唇干裂、食欲不振、大便干燥、小便发黄等,而严重的口疮、咽喉肿痛等症状会影响人体的正常饮食,一些爱美的女士脸上也会因“火气”比较大,长出红红且发痛的痘痘,给生活和工作带来不便。
生活规律多吃蔬菜水果
要避免“上火”,首先要保持科学的生活规律,按时作息,定时定量进餐,不为赶时间放弃一顿,也不为一席佳肴而暴饮暴食。安排各种活动需适当而有节制,保证充足的睡眠,避免熬夜,以免过度疲劳、抵抗力下降。
其次,多吃“清火”食物,新鲜绿叶蔬菜、黄瓜、橙子、绿茶都有良好的清火作用,而胡萝卜对补充人体的维生素B、避免口唇干裂也有很好的疗效。此外,可以口服各类清凉冲剂,如夏桑菊冲剂、金菊冲剂等对“清火”也很有效。
在 “上火”期间,不宜吃辛辣食物、喝酒、抽烟和熬夜,应注意保持口腔卫生,经常漱口,多喝水,并在医生指导下服用“清火”药物。如果“上火”症状比较明显,一周以上还没有好转,需及时到医院就诊。专家特别提醒市民,不要自己随意服用一些“清火”药物,因为有可能服用过度而适得其反。
当然,调整自己的情绪也非常重要。焦躁的情绪会“火上浇油”,保持心情舒畅有助于调节体内的“火气”。
另外,如果出现口腔溃疡,病情比较严重且一周以上不见好转的,应当及时到医院诊断治疗。因为口腔溃疡并不一定是由于“火气大”的缘故,可能是口腔溃疡病原被病毒感染,也可能和激素以及遗传有关。口腔溃疡也被认为是身体变弱的信号,所以出现口腔溃疡时,患者若同时感到身体疲乏,就应检查自己营养摄入是否均衡,休息是否足够,并适量补充各种维生素和矿物质
败火具有清热败火作用的食物种类较多,一般针对上火时不同症候可分下列几类:
(1)清热解毒类:如菊花、黄瓜、板蓝根、番茄、竹笋、绿豆、豆腐、芹菜、荸荠、菱角、马齿苋、金针菜等,多有抗菌消炎作用,适用于各种实火症候。
(2)苦寒制火类:如苦瓜、苦菜、厥菜、丝瓜、田螺、茄子、小米、荞麦、兔肉、田鸡等,可以寒凉之性化热降火,多用于实火症。
(3)利湿泻火类:如冬瓜、西瓜、薏仁、扁豆、大麦、苋菜、甜瓜、赤小豆、黑鱼、鸭肉、鲤鱼、鲫鱼、泥鳅、莴笋、绿豆芽、鸡内金等,适用于各种实火症候。
(4)攻下实火类:如大黄、知母、黄连、黄芩、香蕉、芹菜、马铃薯、芝麻、桃仁、海蜇、白萝卜等,适用于小便短黄、大便干结、口干口苦、腹胀纳差等症候。
(5)凉血敛血类:如莲藕、梨、荸荠、生地、木耳、黄鳝、糯米、藕粉、荠菜、玉米须、芒果、鳗鱼、竹叶、白茅根、马齿苋等,可用于鼻衄、便血、尿血、牙龈出血等血热妄行的情况。
(6)甘温除热类:如党参、白术、白菜、荔枝、栗子、大枣、胡桃仁、百合、黑芝麻、燕窝、蜂乳、高梁、茴香、刀豆、芥菜、樱桃、石榴、乌梅等,适用于气虚火旺的病况。
(7)滋阴降火类:如甲鱼、海带、紫菜、海参、菠菜、猪血、猪肝、红糖、乌鸡、南瓜、蛤蜊、银耳等,多用于阴虚火旺、五心烦热、潮红盗汗、夜不能寐等症。
(8)补脏熄火类:如黑豆、山药、花生、牛乳、薏仁、白木耳、鸽蛋、鹌鹑、雀肉、鳝鱼、羊肉、狗肉、韭菜、桑椹等,适用于因脏腑虚弱、阳气不举所致的各种虚火症候。

2.中药:天冬、麦冬、玄参、大黄、黄连、黄柏、连翘、金银花、大青叶
3.茶
上火后的饮食制定:
可用食物来化解:
1、甜食 适时补充一些甜食可以让心情快乐起来,因为低血糖容易产生焦虑、易怒的情绪,而且会导致意志力薄弱。若是怕胖,可以选择高糖低脂低蛋白的果汁类饮料,因为吸收较快速可以很快地看到效果。
2、含较多维生素B1的食物 如糙米、燕麦、全麦、瘦猪肉、牛奶、蔬菜等。
3、含硒较多的食物 如大蒜、洋葱、海鲜类、全谷类食物等。
4、喝茶 喝粥 晒太阳
降火食物推荐:
苦瓜:可清热解毒、清心明目,适宜于心火旺之人食用。但应以心火程度作为食用多寡的尺度。
茶叶:如乌龙茶、苦丁茶等,有清热强心、利尿、清食解酒、生津止渴等功效。但过量饮用会伤及脾胃。
苦杏仁:具有止咳平喘、润肠通便、润肺脾等好处。但消费者一定要注意不得食用未经处理的果仁。需将果仁去皮去尖,热水浸泡一天,不加盖煮熟,使氢氰酸挥发后方可食用。
枇杷叶:有助于清肺、化痰止咳、和胃降逆以及解暑等。
百合:味甘微苦,性平,可帮助润肺止咳,清心安神。
龟苓膏:可滋阴补肾、润燥护肤、消除暗疮、调理脏腑、防止肤质老化及便秘,能促进新陈代谢,提升人体免疫力,对夏季清热解毒有良好功效。有些人不宜吃“苦”
夏季“自讨苦吃”却并非于人人都适合。正因为“苦入心”,因此,我们在吃“苦”保健康的同时,一定要根据个人的具体身体状况来对症吃“苦”。
第一,脾胃虚寒之人不适宜吃“苦”,因为中医学认为,脾主运化,喜燥恶湿,中医的脾包含了西医消化系统大部分功能,并与体液代谢等有关。而苦寒的东西都易伤脾胃,影响脾胃的运化功能。故如果人体脾胃虚寒,好拉肚子,四肢很消瘦,体质很弱,这时就不能够大量地食用苦寒食物;
第二,小孩子应适当与“苦”保持距离。朱教授指出,有的小孩子心火是比较旺的,但由于其体质稚嫩,因此不宜过度用药。一般降火,喝普通的绿豆汤、百合汤、菊花茶即可;
第三,针对老年人群,朱教授建议应根据具体情况来区别对待。即需结合心火强弱与体质好坏等多方面情况来综合治疗。

9 Days to Reverse Stress Aging and Reveal More Youthful, Beautiful Skin.
Got this book from the local library because of the topic. I'm lame i know. anything associated with anti-aging, anti-stress and radiant skin attracts me these days.
it's a pretty good book. I'm glad it doesn't have too much "technical terms", so it makes reading easy. Am going to share snippets of what I've read/learned from the book as I go along.

//updated: tried it on myself and my mum. it's so good and relaxing! loves the healthy-glow after effect, and the oil smells so good! I'm using Clarins Lotus Treatment Oil for Oily & Combination skin, instead of the Paul & Jones Treatment Oil fuzkitten is using. It's pretty good. Smells really nice, and doesn't dry up so you need not have to keep reapplying. After the massage, I let the oil stay on my face a while and rinse it off, before continuing with my skincare routine. The face will feel slightly oily (due to the oil), but i feel it's ok (for me at least). If you're uncomfortable about it, you may want to wash your face with cleanser. :)
Makeup: Japanese Eye Makeup (The Basics)
pretty good tutorial for doing up the eye. There's also a very special technique shown (my first time seeing it), of heating up the eyelash curler with a lighter, to fix the lashes! pretty cool. you should check this out. i love checking out videos to enhance my eyes. always feel that once the eye is done, you're pretty well made-up. :)
Makeup: Natural Light Smoky Look
Creates the smokey look, but not too dramatic. Probably good for weekends. :) This includes Chinese explanation as well. You'll realise I prefer tutorials by Asian, cos their skin color and stuffs are more relevant for us. :)
