Ta-dah! Trust me, its awesome. I'm not sure which level our wings will ranked on the Sunset Grill scale but we all believed it should be Level 10 or more? The numbness that comes, swollen lips, and ultimate shiokness...you've been warned!!
Below is the recipe for these fantanstic, super-delicious wings. Surprisingly, it's a pretty simple recipe. Suitable for beginners!
You can decide the spiciness you want and fine-tune the recipe from there. For me, we skipped the Louisiana Hot Sauce and replaced it with Hot Tobasco Sauce (note: Hot Tobasco Sauce has the word "hot" on the packaging. If you do not want it to be too spicy, you can get the normal Tobasco sauce or the mild one).

Servings: Serves 5 pax (4 Buffalo Wings/pax)
Preparation Time: 10 - 15 mins
Cook Time: 20 - 30 mins
10 chicken wing pieces (one wing makes 2 pieces - the "flat" and the "drum")
1 cup all-purpose flour
1/8 cup of water
1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper If you want it to be hot, add in some pepper or else, ignore this ingredient
1/4 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon Tabasco sauce If you want it to be hot, buy the extra hot Tabasco sauce
7 tablespoons Louisiana hot sauce (Frank's is the brand used in Buffalo) <--if you want super spicy, replace this with 7 tablespoon of Tabasco Hot Sauce. Warning, it may kill. 1 teapoons unsalted butter or margarine celery sticks (optional) blue cheese dressing (optional) Preparation:
- If necessary, cut whole wings into two pieces. Crack an egg on a bowl, mixed them up. Dip the chicken into the mixed egg, then dip into the bowl of flour to coat the chicken with it. One chicken by one chicken. After all chicken is done, deep fried it.
- Mix all the ingredients for the sauce in a pan, and over low heat bring to a simmer, stirring occasionally, add in appropriate of water to ensure the taste is right (caution: too much water will dilute and make the sauce too watery, add in additional cayenne pepper or Tabasco sauce to make it hotter if necessary) and then turn it off.
- After the wings are cooked, dip the chicken into sauce pan one by one to coat it with the sauce, left over sauce can pour over the chicken
These are always served with celery sticks and blue cheese dressing on the side.
